Dr. Larry Tinnerman - Terre Haute, IN.
Dr. Larry Tinnerman has been involved with the Drum and Bugle Corps activity for over 40 years. Participating as a marching member in groups such as Casper Troopers, Erie Thunderbirds and Steel City Ambassadors helped prepare him for a drum corps career in Coordination, Management and Instruction.
Dr. Tinnerman Studied Education, Psychology, History and Music as an undergraduate student at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania (known as Edinboro State College at the time). He served over 8 years as Winds Coordinator and arranger at McDowell High School Band in Erie, Pennsylvania which placed numerous times in National Competitions and was locally undefeated for over 7 years. Dr. Tinnerman went on to receive his Master’s in Education at Edinboro University in Education. Finally Dr. Tinnerman received his Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Currently, Dr. Tinnerman is an Associate Professor of Education at Indiana State University.
Over the years, Dr. Tinnerman has coordinated music programs such as Steel City Ambassadors Drum and Bugle Corps, Erie Excaliber Drum and Bugle Corps, Pittsburgh Enforcers Drum and Bugle Corps, Pittsburgh Golden Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps, Tri-State Youth Performance Federation Brass Choir, and the Cambria County Brass Choir.
He has also served as a music instructor for Erie Thunderbirds Drum and Bugle Corps, Serra Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, PA, Steel City Ambassadors Drum and Bugle Corps, Rochester Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Steel City Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps.
Dr. Tinnerman has also provided consultation with the Marion Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps.
In regards to management, Dr. Tinnerman has served in the role of Director of the Pittsburgh Royal Crusaders, The Tri-State Youth Performance Federation (TYPF), The TYPF Brass Choir, and The Cambria County Brass Choir.
In 2009, Dr. Tinnerman was honored to become inducted as a life time member of the Pennsylvania Drum Corps Hall of Fame.
Tony Connell - Ebensburg, PA.
Tony Connell studied music at Indiana University of Pennsylvania majoring in music education with Tuba being his focused instrument. During his musical career, Tony had the privilege of studying under Jim Prime Jr., Donnie Van Doren, and Charles Cassavant. Tony began his drum corps marching career with the Cambria Cadets Jr. Drum and Bugle Corps who, at the time were Pennsylvania state champions. In 1981 Tony joined the Garfield Cadets and won his first Drum Corps International championship in 1983. In 1983, Tony served as band director Tournament of Bands (TOB) chapter 11 championship, Bishop Carroll High School. He assumed the director position with the Cambria Heights High School band that eventually went on to win 10 straight Pennsylvania state VFW championships. Later, Tony become assistant director with the Baltimore Colts Band that served a role in bringing professional football back to Baltimore. He has since become a registered nurse and is now supervisor had one of Pennsylvania's Premier state mental institutions. Tony is looking forward to working with Storm as a member of the creative team to be part of something great.
Russ Chandler - Columbia, MO.
Russ Chandler graduated from Hickman HS in Columbia, MO. His involvement with marching band there sparked his interest in drum corps when his director took a group of student leaders to a local drum corps competition. While in college, Russ was a member of the Sky Ryders drum and bugle corps from Hutchinson, KS. They placed 12th at the DCI World Championships in Miami, FL in 1983.
Since graduating from Missouri Western State College with his BA in Music/minor in Business, Russ has stayed involved with the marching arts, writing/arranging for local drumlines, teaching private students, and volunteering with numerous arts organizations over the years. He is currently on event staff for DCI, BOA, and US Bands, also having volunteered with WGI at times in the past. He is also a member of the band staff at Hollister HS in SW Missouri.
In 2009, Russ helped co-found Momentum Youth Performance, Inc. The organization promoted opportunities for students in the marching arts through participation in indoor winter guards. The organization had 2 guards that medaled in their class in the local MCCGA circuit.
Russ lives in Columbia, MO with his wife Linda and their pets. He is employed with KraftHeinz as a member of their quality group.

Legal Consultant to the Board of Directors and Member at Large - Mr. Barry Morgan - Solicitor General - State Court of Cobb County, GA
Barry Morgan is currently serving his sixth term as Solicitor General of the State Court of Cobb County. Governor Zell Miller appointed Morgan Solicitor General in March of 1998. Before becoming a prosecutor, Morgan served twelve years as a high school, middle school, and elementary school band director with the Cobb County Georgia School District. Barry holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Georgia State University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence Summa Cum Laude from the John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia. A founding staff member of the Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps, Morgan has remained active in the Drum Corps community as an instructor and fan and served on the Board of Directors of the World Champion Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. Morgan continues to serve the music community as a lecturer on Legal Responsibilities of Music Teachers for Music for All Summer Symposium, many state music conventions, and the 59th and 63rd Annual Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic.
